Palo Duro is the second-largest canyon in the Unites States, it is roughly 120 mil (190 km) long and has an average width of 6 miles (9.7 km). It is named “The Grand Canyon of Texas” and formed by the “Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River”.

Gorgeous trails throuout the park – most are multi-use.
The views on the trails are super-nice (and even better than the photos can show).

The “Red River” .. right now more a little creek.
… but we saw “big” fish!!!
The Pioneer Amphitheater … in June til August – they play the Texas Outdoor Musical here – that sound like a great event – maybe some day we will be back for it.
Everything in Texas is BIG – even the Glamping “tents” are huge !
