Next stop in Florida is Karick Lake in the Blackwater River State Forest
Again a super nice lakefront campsite.We walk the lake loop trail …… just beautiful ….… and from the other side of the lake having a view to our camper.Perfect site for sunset and campfire.On the way to the next campground … Aldi Shopping Stop – ooooh this one with self check out !!!!Also on the way to the next we stop at Gulf Island National Seashore.Nice stop for a “Lunch break” 🙂Arriving in Alabamaand the next stop is Gulf State Park – a very nice and very large Resort Style Campground.Our CampsiteAnd 40 Miles of trails in the park – almost all are bike friendly.Also part of the State Park is what used to be the longest Pier in the Gulf.… with serious fishing going on !!!Oh yes … the beaches are on the other side of the highway – so nice overpass gets you over there.Nice beachesAnd “Lefty” – she got her name because she is missing her right paw …We have been at the little local museum before ….… and had to stop again – as it’s very interesting.
